Call for entries: Works in Progress programme of Cape Town International Film Market and Festival
As the most important element of a market is its content, the CTIFMF has developed a programme that aims to raise the bar on African content in terms of quality and innovation. Six works in progress will be selected from the African continent to show to local and international festival programmers (Berlinale, Tribeca, Toronto), sales (Pyramide International and Flourishing Films) and talent agents (Casarotto Ramsay & Associates, Curtis Brown), distributors (Indigenous Films), exhibitors, broadcasters (Mnet), VoD platforms and more.
Filmmakers are invited to submit any fiction or documentary feature length films in the making to our selection committee no later than 10 August 2018. Please also provide a password protected Vimeo link of the current edit, a one page synopsis, and a one page statement from the director, producer, and editor describing what they still aim to achieve in finishing the film.
The most promising fi lms will receive awards to help them complete post production through the generous contributions of Cape Townʼs top Post Facilities, where world class services are available. Films will compete for Colour Grading, Online, Final Sound Mix, Subtitling. The Refi nery will offer DCP masters to each one of the 6 WIPʼs selected Films.
