An agreement with SOCODA

With more than 356 artists, 350 titles, nearly 1500 hours of music, 8000 subscribers on the application in just 10 months and nearly 25 355 members on social networks on the one hand, and thanks to an agreement negotiated with the Congolese copyright company SOCODA which gives it the green light to exploit the entire catalog of Congolese music on the other hand, BAZIKS has attracted many Congolese and now wishes to move to a new stage.

Objectives for the 2018-2019 school year

By October 2018, a crowdfunding campaign will be launched. It will be about capturing the demand of the Congolese diaspora estimated at over a million in the world through an exceptional communication device to build a real community of Congolese rumba lovers around the project.

Until the end of 2019, BAZIKS will proceed with the launch of its paid offer while continuing the networking of the local scene and the recruitment of new subscribers in the Democratic Republic of Congo. BAZIKS also plans to expand into a niche market consisting of Congolese abroad and Congolese music fans through an antenna in France.

« We are proud to have reached the 4 off the beaten track tests: proof of feasibility, concept, positioning and scalability of our product through the Digital Lab Africa award. Not to mention the support of the Institut français de Kinshasa, which accompanied our deployment to Kinshasa. The end of this phase has enabled us to confirm that there is indeed an opportunity that we must now structure around the mission we have given ourselves. We believe that with a good strategy and a good ramp-up that we will operate in the coming days, it will be possible to generate a profit margin to attract potential investors » said Baya Ciamala, founder of BAZIKS.
