Johannesburg, 7 November 2016

The 5 winning projects of DIGITAL LAB AFRICA 1st edition, a springboard for African talent in multimedia, have been announced on Friday 4 November at DISCOP Johannesburg, Africa’s premier TV content industry event. This announcement closed with a bang a 3-day programme dedicated to the next generation of producers in the digital age and tomorrow’s content in Africa (Virtual Reality, Web Creation, Transmedia, Digital Music, and Video Game).

With more than 500 visitors across the 3 days of DISCOP, the DLA space was one of the most popular. The VR corner offered delegates a unique opportunity to experience the best of international VR content, including productions from DLA partners such as Arte and Okio-Studio.
