“Rencontres du Film Court”, the short film festival of Madagscar, opened its call for films for all African directors

The French Institute of Madagascar is curating the “Rencontres du Film Court” in Madagscar (RFC), in collaboration with the Rencontres du Film Court association and RoziFilm. For 13 years, the festival intends to promote new african talents. The big island becomes during 9 days the meeting point of directors from the African continent and the Indian ocean.

In 2018, the festival will take place from April 13 to 21 for its 13th edition. The call for films is now open. The “Rencontres du Film Court” festival invites panafrican directors and producers to apply their short films -fiction, documentary or animation- at the selection process. The films produced in 2016 and 2017, of less than 30 minutes, and from an African director, can apply.
