Digital Lab Africa mentioned in the Trace TV show with French President Macron


From 28th to 30th of November 2017, the French President Macron travelled to Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and Ghana to initiate a dialogue with African youth. He accepted the invitation of our partner TRACE, the leading youth media in Africa, to answer directly to the questions by the new African generations.

On that occasion, TRACE produced a special programme recorded in Ghana: TRACE meets President Macron, a conversation with the African youth

Presented by the journalist Alice Tumler, this show was broadcasted on 8 TRACE TV channels, distributed in France, Southern Africa, Francophone Africa, West, East and Central Africa.

The first questions received cover the themes of the relationship and the history of France-Africa, slavery, the problems encountered by the African diaspora in France, the role of France to promote youth employment in Africa, culture, sport, environment…

The question of innovation in Africa was also adressed during the show with a special mention of Digital Lab Africa as one of the key player of African digital ecosystem and Ayodele Elegba’s success story (creator of Area Daddy webseries produced by Keewu Production / Lagardère Studios)
